Welcome to our Jordan/Egypt travel blog. I usually reserve blogs for the egomaniacal, but so many of you asked to follow us on our sojourn that we decided to set one up. Thanks to Ian the waiter at Applebees for suggesting the blog name!
We leave Pittsburgh on October 30, arriving in Amman Jordan on Halloween, oddly fitting and inshah-allah. Get used to this phrase. It is ubiquitous in Arabic conversation and means "God willing" so as to avoid tempting fate to ruin your plans!
